After winning the Tour of Britain 2013 in Sept, Anton and Penny created a new cycle route and named it 'Wiggo's Way'

'Wiggo's Way' starts at Strickland Arms and directs you through some lovely village roads into Brough, then directs you via some breath taking scenery incl 2 reservoirs to Middleton on Tees a quaint Pennine town, it then directs you again via more breath taking scenery to Stanhope (a C2C oasis) where you can rejoin original C2C route

Cumbria County Council and Nurture Eden are considering 'Wiggo's Way' as a new route to be incorporated into the App called 'Cycle More Eden'

There is a 10 mile Time Trial included on the route in honour of Sir Brad, which can be found on Strava to record your time.

To commerate this event, we have in partnership with Cumbria County Council and Nurture Eden created a new cycle route and named it 'Yellow Jersey Loop' and incorporated it in an App called 'Cycle More Eden'

'Yellow Jersey Loop' has been incorporated by Mark Porter on the C2C website and 2013 C2C handbook as a new thread of the C2C cycle route. Yellow Jersey Loop allows you to leave C2C route at Penruddock and directs you The Strickland Arms via Pooley Bridge(Ullswater), Askham and through the grounds of recently opened Lowther Castle.
